Draft 4 Feedback

In draft 4 I didn’t change that much to the magazine front cover but it looks as if there is a lot of difference. From suggestions made by my target audience, I asked people within the age bracket who I have been asking throughout the ancillary text process. They suggested that I had a background that compliments the genre of the film but to also not out shine the character on the front cover. I decided to use the same background as on the poster so that the audience can see a correlation between the two ancillary texts and can compare the different characters on each. With the magazine front cover and the poster combined; the audience get to see the 2 out of the 3 main characters in the film.

I also made the characters bigger, so you could only really see her from waist up. I did this because the audience will then be able to see her facial expressions more and to show the audience that she means business. With also looking straight at the camera, it almost looks as if she is looking at the audience. This is so that the character can make the audience feel as if they have a connection. This is effective because the audience will want to see the film if they feel sorry or want to know the character more if they have a connection with the character. With watching the trailer as well, the audience will want to know more.

Suggestions for improvement next time made by the target audience is to perhaps add more tags so that it excited the target audience more. To also perhaps suggest exclusivity on the front cover when buying this particular magazine.
