The first iteration of our script included an expletive in the first scene. Although according to the BBFC, a 15 certificate film can use strong language, we decided to remove this from the trailer . The main reason for this is that removing it widens the audience for the trailer and doesn’t limit it to a strictly 15+ audience. However the downside of this is that it could affect the believability of the trailer, as the characters would likely choose to use stronger language in real life due to their personalities/professions. We had our actress who will be playing Jane say two versions of the line, one with the expletive and one with it replaced with another word.
